Stairwell Books was shortlisted for the Purpose Driving Profit awards. Though not selected the awards were announced at a dinner in the Merchant Adventurers hall on The 4th of June, 2026. Stairwell was selected for its mentoring of publishing or english students in York and elsewhere. Poetry for All is a disabled-led acessible event supported by an open space suitable for wheel chairs, support animals, closed loop hearing, interpreters and visual representation of the poets words. The event is livestreamed for housebound attendees.
