British and American author L.A. Robbins published what is being praised as an arresting and innovative short story collection in 2022: Unspooling the Light.  First placed in UK, US and European journals, these stories reflect insights from memorable experiences in Scotland, England and abroad. A recent story made the long list for the Fish Publishing prize. The author received a London Writer-of-the-Year Award for another. Work as an alternative medical practitioner provided the inspiration for Widdershins; more novels are being conjured.
