In 2020, COVID-19 challenged Refugee Action York‘s annual Refugee Week celebration, which focuses on creating connections. This became an opportunity to include poets from around the world to discuss belonging: its importance, and how devastating it is when when one isolated and alone. RAY were able to livestream their event to an international audience, letting the world know about the work they do. This book is a collection of many of the poems shared that day.
