Neal Hardin

Neal, a life-long resident of East Hull, has written over twenty stories, some of which have been adapted as screenplays. He writes mainly short stories, and continues to tinker with ‘completed’ novels. Before retiring in 2016, Neal worked in the education sector for twenty-one years. Last year, he joined a writer’s group that meets twice monthly to read their own work and to swap ideas. He works out in the gym almost daily, watches his local football team, and frequents libraries. His favourite authors are Patricia Highsmith and Elmore Leonard.
Travel is important to Neal: his most notable journey was a cycling adventure from the UK to Sweden. He particularly enjoys visiting Niagara, New York and Toronto, Canada. He spends an inordinate number of hours listening to music and watching movies on YouTube. The Go-To Guy is Neal’s first published novel.
